The overall objective of this position
ensure drivers adhere to all internal regulations and occupational safety standards while performing their transportation duties. This role involves on-site and real-time monitoring of driver conduct, ensuring their punctuality and adherence to designated routes, and maintaining the readiness and cleanliness of vehicles to guarantee a safe and reliable transportation service that reflects the company's identity.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, or any related field.

• Familiarity with Syrian traffic law and road safety regulations.

Skills Required:

• Assertive personality and strong ability to deal with drivers and manage field conflicts.

• Keen observation skills and the ability to detect unruly behavior or traffic and operational violations.

• Proficiency in using vehicle tracking systems (GPS) to monitor speeds, routes, and stops.

• Effective communication skills to convey administrative instructions to drivers and submit performance reports to management.

• Ability to work in the field and travel between pick-up points, drop-off points, and rest areas.

• Good knowledge of the geography of roads and routes used by the company's fleet.

Duties and Responsibilities

• On-site and real-time monitoring of drivers' departure times and adherence to trip schedules.

• Monitoring driver behavior on the roads using tracking systems (speeding, unjustified stops, and lane deviations).

• Ensuring drivers wear uniforms and personal protective equipment, and prohibiting smoking or inappropriate behavior inside the vehicle.

• Regularly inspecting the cleanliness and readiness of the driver's cabin and vehicle, and ensuring they are free of any prohibited items.

• Verifying that drivers possess all necessary legal documents (driver's license, driver's card, and transport permits) and that these documents are valid.

• Ensuring drivers adhere to scheduled working and rest hours to guarantee their safety, the safety of the vehicle, and the cargo.

• Coordinating with the Transportation and Maintenance Department in case of driver reports of any emergency breakdown or traffic accident, and following up on the field procedures.

• Preparing daily performance reports on drivers, including observed violations, recommended letters of appreciation, and any field observations.
